Overview

Sargent Enterprises Limited have built a prime-mover machine prototype for the Spiteri Water Pump (SWP), an innovative water pump used for the generation of electricity, which makes use of a new type of Renewable Energy Source (RES) with huge upward potential of economic and ecological benefits.

The concept exploits the repeated up thrust of a buoyant body submerged in water and transfers this energy into pumping water to higher elevations (to an artificial waterfall) such that its potential energy could then be transferred to energy producing turbines.

By inducing up thrust twice and gravity once, the SWP is able to pump water upwards creating an ARTIFICIAL WATERFALL. From this waterfall, turbines will generate electricity at any site in the world where there are no natural waterfalls or rivers and this at a very low cost, which is better than wind power.

Sargent Enterprises Ltd is owned by Gozo Enterprises Limited, which owns through the founder the intellectual property for this invention, covered by Malta Patent certificate PAT/3523; the European Patent Application # 07789537.3, and the International patent application PCT/IB2007/002097 with publishing number WO 2007/141653 at www.wipo.int  - with a total of 45 pages.

The firm is seeking a JOINT DEVELOPMENT AGREEMENT and to embark on a seed capital round of finance, designed to continue funding the process of seeking a worldwide patent and completing a fully operational Spiteri Hydroelectric Power Station prototype for eventual production and commercialization.

The organizational structure which owns and operates this technology comprises two Malta registered companies; Gozo Enterprises Limited which owns and controls through the founder Mr. Joe Spiteri Sargent the intellectual property and Sargent Enterprises Limited, which is contractually bound to build the prototypes under the design and management of Gozo Enterprises Ltd.
