Overview
Sargent Enterprises Ltd is a private company incorporated in Malta, Europe and is dedicated to the generation of energy using renewable resources. Its mission is to test the Spiteri Water Pump (SWP), an innovative water pump that can be used for generating electricity, using renewable resources. Over the last 10 years, we have built a prime-mover prototype to demonstrate the principles behind the SWP. Electricity from this pump can be generated with potential of huge economic and ecological benefits.
Sargent Enterprises Ltd is controlled by Gozo Enterprises Ltd, which owns the intellectual property for the SWP. The SWP is covered by Malta Patent certificate PAT/3523; the European Patent Application # 07789537.3, and the International patent application PCT/IB2007/002097 with publishing number WO 2007/141653 at www.wipo.int - 45 pages.
The concept behind SWP exploits the repeated up thrust of a buoyant body submerged in water. By using this energy to pump water to higher elevations (i.e. an artificial waterfall) its potential energy can then be used to power energy producing turbines. It is envisioned that the SWP can be used anywhere in the world where there are no natural waterfalls or rivers. Built as a series of parallel pumps, the SWP can run at very low operational costs.
Sargent Enterprises is seeking a JOINT DEVELOPMENT AGREEMENT to embark on a seed capital round of finance, designed to continue funding the process of registering a worldwide patent and completing a fully operational Hydroelectric Power Station prototype for eventual production and commercialization.
The organizational structure which owns and operates this technology comprises two Malta registered companies: Gozo Enterprises Limited, the holding company which owns and controls the intellectual property; and Sargent Enterprises Limited, a subsiiary company with private investors. Sargent Enterprises Ltd is contractually bound to build the prototypes under the design and management of Gozo Enterprises Ltd.
